With record numbers through the centre, thanks to the newly opened Events Cinemas, it’s been great to round off multiple projects at Kawana’s Shopping World with the final cherry on Point Cartwright Drive.

Having worked with Buildcorp to implement signage for the new food area, parking facilities and multi-tenant sign, our efforts then turned to the centre’s feature sign.

With a fairly typical fabricated design, the test lay in the fixing, due to the wall’s whimsical covering. Having primed ourselves with sample tiles, the job would clearly be challenging as many of these fractured. Come installation day, it was ‘slow and steady wins the race’, with a combination of traditional and chemical anchors, with a bit of patience thrown in.

The sign benefits from the ever-fashionable halo illumination, so scoot past and check it out day or night!
