LEMAIRE’S BISTRO
Blake Sign Co. was recently contracted by Cornerstone Building Developments to take a concept to fruition for LeMaires Bistro – Nundah.
The concept provided had two key requirements; to be as slim as possible and to include face and halo illumination. With the rear of the smaller sign visible, the challenge lay with finishing it in the desired blackbutt timber, whilst producing enough light to mimic the halo of the larger sign.
The signs were made in two halves, allowing maintenance of the lighting and the ability to remove the disk, should the client ever wish to update their logo. The join closes seamlessly, making the end depth a slender 38mm.
In addition, we were also handed a very slim time frame, which we accepted and managed, meeting the deadline in time for the opening of Nundah’s newest brunch destination.
